Mark Relph from Microsoft (David's new boss!) and Ken Nickerson (from iBinary), talking about what makes Toronto great and what we can do to make the tech community even more vibrant and alive. The video turned out really well, as did Mia's speech, and I think she hit a lot of nails on the head with her call to arms, rallying the troops behind the slogan "This is my city!". It is my city, but it's also yours, so get out there and make it the city you want it to be.

There are lots of great events happening over the course of the week, including the second annual Mesh Conference, which is apparently selling out very quickly so nab a ticket!



Before the official festivities kick off on Monday morning with an address from Mayor Miller, join us for BarCamp TTW, running on Saturday, May 26th, in the U of T - Bissel Building at 140 St. George Street. Sign up on the wiki, throw on your best Participatory Culture hat, and come be part of Toronto's fourth BarCamp!
