Brookfield Homes is one of Ontario's largest homebuilders, proudly building over 200,000 homes in the last 50 years. We built their corporate website and are involved in the ongoing design and development of their community micro sites. Brookfield Homes and Radiant Core were the proud recipients of the Ontario Home Builders Association Website of the Year Award in 2005.

Web Design

Brookfield Homes (Ontario) Ltd. is one of Ontario's largest home builders, with communities growing around the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Radiant Core has been Brookfield's Technology Partner since 2003, helping to design and build an equivalent online community that extends their brand goodwill on to the web.

Our engagement began with the Brookfield corporate website, built entirely on the Foundation™ Website Management Platform. The site includes the expected corporate website information, including press releases and product/community announcements, in addition to a full Décor Studio Catalogue and photo gallery of completed communities. Brookfield's Marketing department easily keep the content fresh and have quickly become masters of the Foundation™ Content Tool.

 

Foundation™ Multi-Site

Taking advantage of the Foundation Enterprise Server's Multi-Site capability, their corporate website is also a jumping point into each of their Community Microsites. The Communities index page (pictured above), includes a Macromedia Flash-based map that pulls content directly from Foundation™, allowing Brookfield to move the flags and keep the community information up-to-date. Clicking on a flag launches the community's customized site which includes floor plans, a community map, directions to the sales centre, and information about the communities ammenities.

Each community site is styled with a unique colour scheme and photo selection based on a common design platform. The sites have an obvious family resemblence which helps to carry a cohesive Brookfield brand throughout their online presence while still allowing each community to have an individual identity.

 

Working with Radiant Core has been an excellent experience for us. We have been consistently impressed with their level of service and attention to detail, and the quality of their product has exceeded our expectations. Foundation has greatly simplified the ongoing maintenance of our website properties and has saved us considerable time and expenditure over traditional alternatives.
