Web Design and Foundation™ Website Platform

Päaeez is a popular and award winning tapas bar on Toronto's busy College St. strip. Given the time and money invested in the decor of their venue, the client had very specific requirements for the look and feel of their website. Working over a period of several nights, we shot over forty original photographs throughout the establishment which were used to create a series of design drafts. Working closely with the client, a final design was selected which prominently features our original photography.

It was important for the website to create a very palpable sense of place - a warm and inviting atmosphere that reflected the reality of Päaeez while providing access to all of the required information. We performed a thorough analysis of competitive websites and designed a complete Information Architecture before the first photograph was taken, ensuring that we covered the required subjects in a highly cost-effective manner.

The Päaeez website is managed via the Foundation™ Toolbox. Päaeez employees can quickly and easily make changes to content, as well as regularly upload and classify new photo gallery additions. The Membership page, seen at right, allows site visitors to become members of the exculsive Päaeez Club and to keep up to date with the latest happenings via newsletters sent from the Foundation™ Post Office Tool. Ease of updating keeps the content as fresh and cool as their latest martini and return visits to the site result in return visits to the bar.
